Former K-pop Idol Kang Kyun Sung Announces Surprise Wedding, Revealing Bride’s Identity for the First Time

Singer Kang Kyun Sung is set to tie the knot this fall, and his agency has just revealed the identity of his bride for the very first time.

On August 4, Kang Kyun Sung’s agency S27M Entertainment announced, “Kang Kyun Sung will marry Yoo Ha Jin on October 30 at a private venue in Seoul.”

The agency added, “Kang Kyun Sung decided to marry out of deep certainty and love for his bride-to-be. Going forward, he plans to continue his career as an artist while also taking on the role of head of his own household.”

Kang Kyun Sung had personally revealed news of his upcoming wedding a day earlier, on August 3, through his own social media account.

He wrote, “I’ve met someone precious I want to walk alongside for the rest of my life, and we’re getting married.” He continued, “I’m grateful to ‘Noeulbit’ (his official fandom name) for always supporting me without fail and sharing in the precious moments of my life. It would mean a lot if you continue to watch over me warmly and send your blessings going forward.”

The identity of Kang Kyun Sung’s bride-to-be, Yoo Ha Jin, was made public for the first time through the agency’s statement on August 4. How long the two have been dating has not been disclosed.

Kang Kyun Sung debuted in 2002 as a member of the group Noel, known for songs including “Even If I Hold On,” “It Hurts, It Still Hurts,” “Proposal,” and “It Was All You.” Yoo Ha Jin debuted in 2019 and has since appeared in the MBC drama “Spring Night,” the film “Turn: The Street,” and the play “Rental Apartment.”
