Kep1er Successfully Renew Their Contracts But Only As A 7-Member Group, Two To Leave After Initial Contract Activities Conclude
The group Kep1er has successfully renewed their contract. This is the first time for an Mnet project girl group.
On the 30th of May, Wake One and Swing Entertainment announced, “We have reached an agreement with Kep1er members Yujin, Xiaoting, Chaehyun, Dayeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih and Youngeun for the extension of their group activities.”
With this, Kep1er will continue their domestic and international activities as a 7-member group even after the end of their project group activities. Their last activities as Kep1er will be the release of their first full-length album ‘Keep Your Going On’ on June 3rd and a concert in Japan in July by Mashiro and Yeseo.
Wake One and Swing Entertainment stated, “We have had extensive discussions with Mashiro and Yeseo, and their respective agencies regarding their future activities. Ultimately, they will conclude their activities as Kep1er. We sincerely thank Mashiro and Yeseo for their dedicated efforts as Kep1er for the past 2 years and 6 months, and we will continue to support them wholeheartedly.”
