Beloved Korean Model Kim Sung Chan Passes Away At 35

Model Kim Sung Chan has passed away after battling cancer for more than two years.

On November 6, Kim Sung Chan’s older brother shared the news on social media, writing, “After over two years of fighting cancer, my younger brother has left us. I’m posting this message because I have no way to contact everyone personally.”

He added, “Please offer warm words of comfort to my younger brother.”

Kim Sung Chan had previously revealed on his own social media that he had been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma after visiting the hospital due to health issues. He openly shared updates from his chemotherapy journey, posting messages like “I won’t lose” and “I’m being reborn.” Unfortunately, after two years of battling the disease, he has sadly passed away.

Kim Sung Chan made his debut in 2013 through the 2014 S/S Unbounded AWE fashion show and gained attention in 2014 after appearing on OnStyle’s model survival program “Korea’s Next Top Model Season 5 Guys & Girls.”

His funeral is being held in Room 2 at the Seoul Medical Center Funeral Hall, with the procession scheduled for the morning of November 8 at 10:20 a.m.
