Korean Singer Reveals He’s Become Mildly Disabled After Car Accident

Singer Moses has revealed that he has become mildly disabled.

Mose, who is currently active under the trot singer name Choon Gil, appeared on the “Living Legend” segment of KBS1’s “Morning Yard” recently and said, “In 2019, I was in a car accident. I suffered from aftereffects for nearly two years. After visiting various hospitals, I finally learned at the last hospital that I had a rare disease.”

He explained why he became mildly disabled, “I underwent major surgery on my cervical spine. That’s why I became mildly disabled. Since the surgery was done from the front of my neck, it could have damaged my vocal cords. In severe cases, it could have even caused paralysis, but fortunately, that didn’t happen.”

He continued, “However, my vocal cords are not at 100% after the surgery. I’ll make sure to take good care of them.”

Mose rose to stardom in 2005 when his debut song “It’s Love” became a big hit. At the end of last year, he transitioned to trot music under the name Choon Gil and placed fourth on TV CHOSUN’s “Mister Trot 3.” Choon Gil is said to be the name of his late father.
