Kpop Group Bodyguard Causes A Concussion To Fan At Airport, Agency Issues Apology
The group Cravity‘s side has apologized regarding the claim that a fan was diagnosed with a concussion after being hit by a bodyguard.
On the 22nd of July, a month after the situation first occurred, Starship Entertainment issued an apology to the official fan café of the group regarding the incident.
Earlier, an individual identified as a minor (referred to as A) claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that they were assaulted by a bodyguard at Gimpo Airport on June 23 during Cravity’s arrival. A claimed the bodyguard hit their head and continued to use violence despite them trying to leave, and even mocked them. A was diagnosed with a concussion at the hospital and stated they would report the bodyguard company to the police.

Hello.
This is Starship Entertainment.
We deeply apologize to the victims and fans for the inappropriate actions of the bodyguard performing artist security duties at the airport upon Cravity’s return from their concert and promotion in Japan on June 23.
As soon as we became aware of the incident, we terminated the on-site security cooperation with the bodyguard company involved.
Additionally, we will establish security protocols and training procedures to prevent recurrence and ensure the safety of fans and artists.
We apologize once again to the fans.
