Ladies’ Code Member Zuny Gets Married, Members Reunite At Her Wedding
Ladies’ Code member Zuny (real name Kim Jumi) has become an April bride.
On the 18th of April, Zuny held her wedding with her boyfriend, a fighter pilot. She shared photos and videos from the ceremony on her SNS, saying, “Thank you so, so much to everyone who took the time to come on this precious weekend. I won’t forget it and will live well while giving back. Thank you again.”
Fellow Ladies’ Code members Sojung and Ashley Choi attended the wedding, and together with Jung Yi Han of The Nuts, they performed the congratulatory song. Zuny also posted a video of Sojung and Ashley singing, writing, “Guys, don’t cry. Ladies’ Code is the best,” while the members shared photos showing their affection.
Previously, in October last year, Zuny personally announced her marriage news. At the time, she said, “I’m getting married next year. Due to my husband’s job, we registered our marriage first and are living in Chungju. Please congratulate us a lot,” adding, “This is not a premarital pregnancy. My husband is a fighter pilot, so we registered early—please don’t misunderstand or worry.”
Ladies’ Code debuted in 2013 as a five-member girl group with the EP album “Code#01 Bad Girl,” gaining love with songs like “Pretty Pretty” and “Kiss Kiss.” However, the group faced tragedy the following year when members EunB and RiSe passed away in a car accident. The group later continued as a trio with Ashley, Sojung, and Zuny before concluding activities in 2020 after their contracts expired.
