Popular Female Idol Admits To Getting Hair Transplant, “I had over 3000 grafts transplanted”

Lee Chaeyeon has admitted to getting a hair transplant during a recent variety show appearance!

On the June 14 episode of JTBC’s Knowing Bros, the show featured a special “Summer Queens” lineup with Kim Wan Sun, Brown Eyed Girls’ Narsha, Lee Chaeyeon, and FIFTY FIFTY’s Chanelle Moon.

During the episode, Kim Heechul asked if Lee Chaeyeon knew Kang Ho Dong was originally a wrestler. Lee Chaeyeon said she remembered him from Love Letter, when she was around five years old.

Chanelle Moon also expressed her admiration for Lee Chaeyeon, saying, “I’ve been a fan since IZONE. Since I also went through a survival show, she became a role model for me.”

During the show, Lee Chaeyeon opened up about a challenging moment at Waterbomb. She shared, “For my first Waterbomb performance, I worked hard on preparations and wanted to fill in the sparse areas on my head, so I used hair fibers. But once I got wet, everything washed off.”

She continued, “When I did hair flips, my scalp was completely exposed, and rumors started that I was balding. Since I had more Waterbomb stages coming up, I was really worried, so I went ahead and got a hair transplant. I had 3,571 grafts transplanted,” she revealed.

Narsha reacted in surprise, saying, “Over 3,000 grafts is a lot.” When Seo Jang Hoon jokingly asked if she had gone to Han Sang Bo (a well-known hair transplant doctor), Lee Chaeyeon was startled and confirmed, “Yes, that’s right.”
