Beloved Singer Lee Min Found Dead In Her Home

Lee Min (real name Lee Min Young, 46), member of the duo As One, has passed away.

Lee Min was found dead at her home on the evening of August 5. The police are currently investigating the cause of her death. It was revealed that Lee Min’s husband discovered her when he returned home.

A representative from Brand New Music told Dispatch on the 6th, “The police are conducting an investigation,” and added, “Please refrain from excessive speculation until the results are revealed.”

According to sources in the music industry, Lee Min had been actively promoting until recently. In June, she released a new single titled “Happy Birthday.” She also appeared on Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile.

A longtime acquaintance of the deceased told Dispatch, “She was such a positive person. She had recently made a comeback and was promoting joyfully. I still can’t believe it.”

Lee Min had been working diligently, balancing both her role as a vocal instructor and her music career. Another acquaintance added, “I saw her just last week. She was truly someone who lived a sincere life.”

Lee Min debuted in 1999 as part of the female duo As One. The group released several hit songs, including “Want and Resent,” “Day by Day,” “No Way,” and “Should I Be Sorry.”

Her fellow As One member Crystal, who currently lives in the United States, is on her way to Korea after hearing the news.
