Celebrating his dog Siwol’s birthday, Lim shared a picture and wrote, “Happy birthday to our Siwol.” While the post seemed innocuous, it sparked criticism when a netizen accused him of being indifferent to the current political climate and sent him a direct message criticizing the perceived frivolity of his post.
The controversy escalated when it was claimed that the critical message originated from a television producer.
