Kpop Idol Exposes Former Agency Staff For Expressing Frustration For Not Catching Her Injury On Camera

Former Lovelyz member Lee Mijoo has exposed the shocking wrongdoings of her former agency.

Recently, a video was uploaded on her YouTube channel “Just Lee Mijoo.” In the video, the “’94s” — Red Velvet’s Seulgi, Oh My Girl’s Hyojung, KARA’s Heo Youngji — along with MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul, who is a 92-liner but close friends with them, gathered for a “princess party.”
Mijoo laughed as she said, “It’s the first time the five of us are on a broadcast together. I’m nervous.”

The members recalled memories from the 2nd generation girl group era. Hyojung mentioned borrowing Lovelyz outfits and said, “Some members couldn’t even zip them up. I realized just how slim our seniors were back then.”

Mijoo picked the school uniform outfit from “Candy Jelly Love” as her favorite but added, “I had a bit of baby fat, so I barely managed to close it. I was so shocked that I lost 8kg for the ‘Ah-Choo’ promotions.”

Standing 165 cm tall, Mijoo revealed, “I went down to 44kg, then went back up to 46kg,” speaking about the harsh reality of extreme girl group diets.
Moonbyul responded, “If I had to do concepts like Lovelyz or Oh My Girl, I would’ve quit promotions,” showing her admiration.

Mijoo also revealed a frightening broadcasting accident during her activities. While promoting “Destiny,” she had to dance in high heels, but “right before going on stage, I noticed the sole of my shoes was peeling off. I asked the stylist to replace them, but they said there was no time and told me to just go on stage,” she confessed.

As a result, Mijoo twisted her ankle during the performance but held back tears and finished the stage despite falling. She was later rushed to the ER with torn ligaments. “A company staff member came and said, ‘Did the fall get caught on camera?’” she revealed bitterly.

The members were shocked, saying, “People should come first.” Heo Youngji, who usually bickers with Mijoo, burst out angrily, “They should just rot in hell.” Mijoo added, “After that, I only wore sneakers,” leaving everyone with a sense of sorrow.
