Man Pretending To Be BLACKPINK Jennie’s Father Ordered To Dispose Of His Book By The Court

A court has ordered the full disposal of a book published by a man falsely claiming to be the biological father of BLACKPINK member Jennie (29).

Recently, the Goyang Branch of the Uijeongbu District Court ruled in favor of Jennie in a lawsuit she filed to ban the distribution of a publication by Mr. A and his publishing company. Mr. A had publicly claimed to be Jennie’s biological father.

The court stated, “Mr. A must delete any posts containing content implying a familial relationship with Jennie from platforms such as KakaoTalk, social media, and internet sites. He is also prohibited from posting similar content in the future and from giving interviews to media outlets or appearing on broadcasts regarding the matter.”

During the trial, Mr. A continued to assert that he was Jennie’s father. However, Jennie’s legal team submitted a family registry certificate explicitly naming a third party as her father, which the court accepted as valid evidence.

Back in December of last year, Jennie’s side warned the public, “Illegal publications and fake news claiming to be from Jennie’s father continue to circulate. These are completely false and have no connection whatsoever to the artist. We urge the public to be cautious and avoid purchasing such materials, as they may cause harm.”

Mr. A claimed that he had published an “AI novel based on Jennie’s true story” and introduced himself as a former terrestrial TV producer, an independent filmmaker who had worked in Japan and the U.S., and the illegitimate child of a conglomerate founder.

Jennie has previously shared in interviews that she was “raised solely by her mother from a young age.”
