BREAKING: Mark Leaves NCT and Departs SM Entertainment
Its been announced that Mark is leaving not only NCT but also SM Entertainment!
On April 3, many fans were shocked to learn of SM’s statement. The agency notified fans that Mark is leaving the agency and concluding all of his activities with NCT which included both NCT 127 and NCT DREAM.
The announcement shocked fans, and many initially confused it for an April Fool’s joke. SM does not go into details about exactly why Mark left not only NCT but the agency as well. They end their statement wishing him the best.
Mark’s contract will conclude on April 8.

Notice Regarding the Conclusion of MARK’s Exclusive Contract
Hello, this is SM Entertainment.
We would like to sincerely thank all fans for your continued love and support for NCT.
After a long period of careful and thoughtful discussion with MARK regarding his future activities, we have mutually agreed to conclude his exclusive contract as of April 8. MARK will conclude all activities as a member of NCT, including NCT 127 and NCT DREAM.
Since his debut with NCT in 2016, MARK has demonstrated exceptional talent and versatility through
both group and solo activities and has delivered remarkable performances over the years. We are truly
grateful for the time he spent with us, and we wholeheartedly support him as he begins a new chapter
in his journey.
Moving forward, NCT 127 will continue as a seven- member group consisting of JOHNNY, TAEYONG, YUTA, DOYOUNG, JAEHYUN, JUNGWOO, and HAECHAN. NCT DREAM will continue as a six-member group consisting of RENJUN, JENO, HAECHAN, JAEMIN, CHENLE, and JISUNG.
SM Entertainment will continue to fully support the activities of the NCT members, and we will do our best to honor the continued love and support from fans.
