MBLAQ’s Mir Announces Marriage Plans
MBLAQ’s Mir (Bang Cheol Yong) is joining the married-men lineup.
According to Sports Chosun’s coverage on December 12, Mir will hold his wedding ceremony at 5:30 p.m. on the 21st at a wedding hall located somewhere in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. The bride-to-be is a non-celebrity who is one year older than Mir, and the two became a married couple based on trust and faith built over a long period of time.
Mir’s side confirmed the news via an official statement and announced that the wedding is taking place on the 21st of December and the wife is a non-celebrity.
In particular, regarding this wedding, Mir’s family’s congratulations and support are said to be especially warm. His younger sister, actress Go Eun Ah, as well as his older sister Bang Hyo Jin, and the “Bangane” YouTube channel family—who received much love for their “family chemistry”—are said to sincerely welcome the new family member.
MBLAQ is currently maintaining activities as a three-member team consisting of Seungho, G.O, and Mir. G.O married former actress Choi Ye Seul in September 2019, and former member Thunder married Mimi, formerly of gugudan, in May last year. With this, Mir becomes the third married man among the MBLAQ members.
Mir debuted in October 2009 with MBLAQ and received great love with numerous hit songs such as “Y,” “Mona Lisa,” “Oh Yeah,” “It’s War,” “Stay,” and “Smoky Girl.”
