Highly Controversial Kpop Agency Co-Founder Steps Down From His Duties At His Agency, Whats Going On?
MC Mong has been relieved of his duties at ONEHUNDRED, to the surprise of many.
Recently, a representative from ONEHUNDRED stated, “MC Mong has stepped down from his position as chief producer.” The agency declined to provide further details, citing “personal reasons.”
This effectively signals a suspension of his activities, and his return remains uncertain. The representative added, “It’s difficult to say anything at this time. We apologize.”
MC Mong co-founded ONEHUNDRED in 2023 with CHA Ga-won, chairman of PIAQ. Last year, he served as the executive producer for girl group BADVILLAIN. However, after two years, his professional activities have now come to a halt.
ONEHUNDRED currently manages artists such as THE BOYZ, BADVILLAIN, and Kim Dae Ho. Its subsidiaries include Big Planet Made Entertainment — home to Lee Seung Gi, Lee Mujin, Taemin, and Lee Soo Geun — and INB100, which houses EXO members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin.
