Beloved Kpop Idol Reportedly Broke Up With Her Boyfriend Due To The Pressure Of Public Dating, Agency Responds
Singer and broadcaster Mijoo and football player Song Bumkeun have reportedly broken up after nine months of public dating and the alleged reasoning has made fans sad!
On the 20th of January, a media outlet reported the couple’s breakup, stating, “They parted ways due to the pressure of public dating but decided to remain supportive friends.”
Mijoo’s agency responded to this and told YTN Star, “It’s difficult to confirm matters related to the artist’s private life.”
Netizens have speculated about the breakup after noticing that traces of Song Bumkeun were removed from Mijoo’s social media accounts.
The couple’s relationship first became known in April last year when they posted photos on social media that appeared to have been taken of each other at the same travel destination. At the time, Mijoo reportedly traveled to Japan to meet Song Bumkeun, who was playing in the J-League.
Mijoo debuted in 2014 as a member of the group Lovelyz and later transitioned to the agency Antenna. In 2023, she debuted as a solo artist and is currently appearing on MBC’s “How Do You Play?”
Goalkeeper Song Bumkeun, who joined Jeonbuk Hyundai as a rookie in 2018, has recently returned to Jeonbuk Hyundai and is preparing for the new season.
