Popular JYP Idol Is The First Of Her Group To Get Married, Shares Sweet Wedding Photos With Fans

Former Miss A member Min, who has earned the title of “June Bride,” has announced her wedding!

Former miss A member and singer Min (real name Lee Min Young) will be walking down the aisle on June 7. On the morning of April 21, when the news of her marriage was revealed, Min told Ilgan Sports, “I’m really grateful to be getting married with so many people congratulating me. It still doesn’t feel real,” yet she couldn’t hide her happiness.

According to her agency, the groom-to-be is a non-celebrity whom she met in 2018 at a concert through an acquaintance. The two developed a romantic relationship and dated seriously for a long time. They got engaged in April 2023 and have built a strong bond of trust and affection, now leading to marriage.

Min expressed her love for her fiancé, saying, “Sometimes he feels like a best friend, sometimes like a dependable older brother, and sometimes like a playful friend. I feel very reassured and excited to spend my life with someone who has such diverse charms.”

She added, “We’ll live a happy, fun, and beautiful life together with lots of laughter. Please continue to watch over us warmly.”

The wedding will be held privately at a location in Seoul, out of consideration for the non-celebrity groom and both families. The agency stated, “We hope you’ll warmly bless the couple as they start this new chapter in their lives.”

Min debuted in 2010 with miss A and gained massive popularity through numerous hit songs such as “Bad Girl Good Girl,” “Good Bye Baby,” and “Only You.” After the group disbanded in 2017, she actively continued her career as a solo artist and musical actress, even performing in Broadway musicals in New York.

Her solo activities have also been diverse. She is currently preparing to release a new single on May 31, and plans to continue solo promotions in July after her wedding.
