Several Of ASTRO Moonbin’s Best Friends To Release A Song In His Memory Around The 2nd Anniversary Of His Passing
A song dedicated to ASTRO member Moonbin is set to be released.
On the 28th of March, ASTRO’s agency, Fantagio, announced, “Moonbin’s friends have gathered to release a new song in April. This song will be structured as a ‘letter from his friends to Moonbin.’”
The agency further stated, “Details regarding the participating artists and the new song will be announced later. We hope this will serve as a source of comfort and a gift to the fans who remember and love Moonbin.”
Moonbin debuted as a member of ASTRO in 2016 and was active in various fields. However, on April 19, 2023, he tragically passed away at the age of 25.
Since his passing, ASTRO members, his younger sister Moon Sua of Billlie, SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan, and other celebrities who were close to him have consistently expressed their love and remembrance on his birthday and anniversary.
On April 19 last year, to mark the first anniversary of his passing, ASTRO members released “Fly (Duet with Moonbin)” in his memory. Additionally, SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan and ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo released tribute songs titled “Dandelion” and “Stalker,” respectively, while SEVENTEEN’s Woozi released the song “Some Future” on Moonbin’s birthday.
The second-anniversary tribute song for Moonbin is scheduled to be released in April.
