“Music Bank” MCs ILLIT’s Minju And Moon Sang Min Are Leaving Their Positions
ILLIT’s Minju and Moon Sang Min are stepping down from their positions as MCs on “Music Bank.”
According to various media outlet reports recently, Minju will be leaving her role as an MC on KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank.” In response, KBS stated, “We are currently discussing her departure later this month due to scheduling.”
Similarly, According to an OSEN report, Moon Sang Min will be leaving his role as an MC on KBS2’s music program “Music Bank.” However, the exact timing of his departure has not yet been finalized and is currently under discussion.
ILLIT’s Minju has been serving as an MC on “Music Bank” since October 2024. With this, she will be stepping down after about one year and three months of meeting K-pop fans every week, and plans to focus on her activities with the group ILLIT.
Moon Sang Min has led “Music Bank” since May 2024. Following LE SSERAFIM’s Hong Eunchae, he went on to host the show alongside ILLIT’s Minju, showcasing great chemistry as the program’s MC.
Despite his busy acting schedule, Moon Sang Min showed strong affection for “Music Bank,” continuing with the program for a lengthy period of one year and eight months. With his cheerful yet stable hosting skills, he was also selected as an MC for the “KBS Drama Awards” consecutively in 2024 and 2025.
