Nana Breaks Silence After Confirming She’s Dating T.O.P, Here’s What She Said
Nana, former member of girl group After School, has shared her feelings for the first time after confirming her relationship with former BIGBANG member T.O.P.
Nana wrote on a fan communication platform on October 2, “I was really caught off guard. I’m a little embarrassed too. We’ll date beautifully and in good health!”
That same day, T.O.P and Nana officially confirmed their relationship.
T.O.P’s agency Topspot Pictures and Nana’s agency Sublime stated on October 2, “The two first met and grew close while filming a music video together, and developed into a romantic relationship around this past June.”
T.O.P and Nana grew close while filming the music video for “Totally Crazy!,” the title track off T.O.P’s first solo full album released this past April. Having both debuted as second-generation idols and expanded into acting, the two bonded over having faced and fought through countless malicious rumors together, which helped their relationship blossom.
T.O.P debuted with BIGBANG in 2006, but received a suspended sentence in 2017 over marijuana use, announced his retirement from the entertainment industry, and left BIGBANG. However, he reversed his retirement and made a comeback in December 2024 through Netflix’s “Squid Game 2.”
Nana debuted with After School in 2009 and also promoted as part of the unit group Orange Caramel. She later expanded into acting starting with tvN’s “Good Wife.” She recently released Netflix’s “The Scandal.”
