Famous K-pop Idol Coolly Admits To Getting A Lifting Procedure Before His Group’s Concert
2PM member Nichkhun revealed that he received a lifting procedure.
On October 27, a video titled “It’s My First Time Washing A Car” was posted to the channel “Ohu Sesi” (오후셋이). At the beginning of the video, Nichkhun and Jun. K were looking at their faces in the mirror from different angles before filming began. Nichkhun asked, “It looks okay, right?” and Jun. K complimented his sharper look, saying, “Nichkhun, your face is really tight up here.” When Wooyoung approached the two and asked, “Why are you looking in the mirror so much?” Jun. K confessed that they had gotten a face lifting laser treatment.
At the time of filming, 2PM had a concert coming up, and Nichkhun explained in detail, “You have to take care of yourself in advance. I used a product that does lifting and cooling at the same time.” He emphasized, “Usually when you get a laser treatment, it hurts so you apply numbing cream, but this time it was done in 10 minutes. As you get older, your face inevitably sags. You have to take care of it.”
Earlier, Nichkhun had gone viral for showing off a sudden weight gain. In a video released on 2PM’s official channel in May, he appeared with a plump look, with his chin folding. He explained that he had gained weight from eating a lot while visiting his family home in Thailand during the early part of the year when he had fewer schedules.
After being shocked by the video, he went on a drastic diet, eating 3 eggs for 3 days. In the end, he regained his sharp jawline and successfully returned to broadcasting looking healthy.
Nichkhun is the only foreign member of 2PM and the first Thai idol in the Korean entertainment industry. Thanks to his handsome looks and wealthy family background, he earned the nickname “Prince of Thailand” in Korea. His parents are known to be the heads of a large pharmaceutical company in Thailand. Nichkhun is currently 38 years old (international age) and is actively working, having recently held 2PM concerts.
