The JYP Girl Group Who Finally Managed To Top Melon Daily Charts For The 1st Time Since Their Debut In 2022
NMIXX has topped the Melon daily chart with their new song “Blue Valentine.”
On the 13th of October, NMIXX released their first full-length album Blue Valentine along with the title track of the same name. The song initially entered Melon’s daily chart at No. 85 on the 13th and steadily climbed in rankings, reaching No. 1 on the 22nd—marking the group’s first-ever time topping the chart since debut, showcasing their rising popularity.
The track first hit No. 1 on Melon’s Top 100 at 11 p.m. on the 20th and has maintained its position since the 21st. It also held the top spot on Bugs’ daily chart for four consecutive days, from the 19th to the 22nd. In addition, it ranked No. 1 on major domestic music charts such as Melon Hot 100 (30-day), Hot 100 (100-day), Bugs real-time chart, FLO chart, and Circle Chart’s Week 42 download chart (10.12–10.18), proving NMIXX’s strong digital performance.
Their popularity also shone through on music shows. Capturing attention with their powerful live performance, NMIXX took first place with “Blue Valentine” on MBC M’s “Show! Champion” on the 22nd. The group also won another trophy on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on the 23rd, achieving a double crown on music programs. They expressed their gratitude, saying, “We’re truly living a dream these days. The title track from their first full-length album, showcasing NMIXX’s all-rounder abilities, has received rave reviews under phrases like “autumn carol,” “NMIXX-style music box,” and “must-listen song for all seasons.” With its sentimental yet sweet sound, the track has captivated fans both in Korea and abroad, further solidifying NMIXX’s presence with the album’s long-running success.
On November 29 and 30, NMIXX will kick off their first-ever world tour “EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER” at Inspire Arena in Incheon. This will mark their first solo concert since debuting in February 2022, where they plan to pour their energy onto the stage and showcase their infinite “N” charms.
