One Of The First-Generation Korean Influencers Passes Away Suddenly At 44

Lee Joo Hee, the CEO of Ab Collection and widely known as a first-generation influencer, has passed away unexpectedly.

On the 25th of June, an obituary was posted on Lee Joo Hee’s official account, stating: “Yesterday, Lee Joo Hee, the beloved partner of one man, the mother of a child, and someone cherished by many as the CEO of Ab Collection, suddenly left our side.”

Her family shared: “She was someone who always wanted to share better things with others and dreamed of creating a beautiful and happy world with many people. We still cannot believe this news and remain in deep sorrow.”

They continued: “We originally intended to share this news after all the procedures had been completed. However, because so many people have expressed concern and reached out, we decided to carefully announce it first. “We sincerely thank everyone for the warm interest and love you have shown to Lee Joo Hee and Ab Collection over the years.”

They concluded: “Before she was the CEO of Ab Collection, she was Lee Joo Hee—a person who was always bright and full of love. We would be grateful if you could remember her, pray for her peace, and allow her to rest comfortably.”

A memorial portrait of Lee Joo Hee was also released.

Born in 1982, Lee Joo Hee passed away on the 24th at the age of 44.

The cause of death has not been disclosed. Lee Joo Hee was known as a first-generation influencer with around 120,000 followers and founded the fashion brand Ab Collection in 2019.
