The group ONEUS could be set to participate in the new season of the cable channel Mnet’s “Road to Kingdom.”
An Mnet official stated to Mydaily on the 28th of June, “We are positively discussing ONEUS’s appearance in the new season of Mnet’s ‘Road to Kingdom.'”
“Road to Kingdom,” which first aired in 2020, is a competition program that showcases the fierce competition between talented K-pop boy groups. This year, “Road to Kingdom” is planned to be rebranded as a standalone brand, rather than a prequel to compete for a spot in the follow-up program “Kingdom,” and is scheduled to be relaunched in the second half of this year.
ONEUS gained attention during Season 1 of “Road to Kingdom” with their outstanding performances and stages that incorporated Korean elements. After “Road to Kingdom,” they released various songs and achieved first place on various music shows, showcasing their rising popularity.
As ONEUS returns to “Road to Kingdom” after four years, it is expected that their growth over the years can be observed. Particularly, anticipation is already high to see what kind of stage ONEUS, known for their solid live skills and excellent performances, will present.
