Park Sung Hoon Shares 19+Picture Parodying “Squid Game 2,” Agency Attempts To Explain Why
Actor Park Sung Hoon recently faced backlash after uploading an explicit AV [adult video] parody cover based on “Squid Game” to his personal social media account.
The image, which featured fully nude women and showed 19+ sexual acts, was quickly deleted, but fans had captured a screenshot.
On December 30, screenshots of Park Sung Hoon’s social media post began circulating in online communities, sparking public outrage. The uploaded image was a parody of “Squid Game” with explicit content prominently displayed.
The image shocked netizens and many wondered if the actor would address it.
Later, BH Entertainment, his agency, addressed the incident, stating, “There has been an overwhelming amount of direct messages (DMs) flooding Park Sung Hoon’s social media. While checking his messages, he accidentally uploaded the image.”
The agency further explained, “The actor himself was deeply shocked and feels immensely sorry for making such a mistake, especially during these sensitive times. We will take greater care to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.”
Netizens have pointed out that there is no direct way to share screenshots from DMs as stories. The agency’s reasoning for Park Sung Hoon’s blunder raised eyebrows.
Meanwhile, Park Sung Hoon recently appeared in the Netflix series “Squid Game Season 2” playing the character Hyun Joo and received many positive reviews.
