“Positively Yours” Ending Explained

“Positively Yours” has concluded its run earlier today, here is a recap of its 12^th and final episode!

The whole family is meeting up ahead of marriage but Han Jeong-Eum shows up. She ruins it and says the chairman ruined her life, he takes her aside and talks to her. He tells she did this to herself and ruined herself and them, she continues to play the victim and leaves. Hee-Won defends Du Jun and says she’s in the marriage to be happy with him.

After they leave, Hee-Won’s mother says she’s happy with the in-laws and happy with her attitude thinking she’ll do well. Han Jeong-Eum calls several people to try and stage something against the family but fails, everyone is leaving her behind.

Later, Du Jun wants to propose but doesn’t know how to and their group of friends try to help him out. That night, Du Jun speaks with his mother who tells him again that its not his fault what happened to his brother and he should let it go.

On another day while Du Jun is preparing for a proposal, Han Jeong-Eum’s daughter comes to her to tell her she quit, she makes a scene and is furious and demands she does something or talk to her grandpa. Se Hyun refuses and says if she keeps being like this, she won’t think of her as family.

On another day, Du Jun and Hee-Won get flowers and cake and she makes him visit his brother’s grave. She says hi and introduces herself. Then she gives him time with his brother, he cries at his grave and apologizes for not coming much. Hee-Won is by his side to sooth his pain.

Then, the proposal day is here and everyone is preparing for it. As he heads to get the ring, on his way to the garage, Han Jeong-Eum tries to run him over claiming everything is his fault, however, Se Hyun shows up and she hits the breaks hard, she nearly killed her own daughter.

Luckily, no one is hurt. The mother cries because she nearly killed her own daughter. She realizes she went too far and apologizes. She decides to stop, she visits her husband’s grave to say bye and goes to apologize on her knees to Du Jun. He accepts her apology and apologizes too.

After getting that apology, she goes to the police station. Du Jun sees Hee Won still working at the office and goes to her to apologize for not holding her hand sooner. He proposes to her with his hand shaking, she loves it and says yes.

Some time later [more than a year]

The launch of the beer happens and its a success. Everyone who made it happen is happy about it. She goes back and Du Jun is there sleeping with their girl. The next day, to celebrate their anniversary, they go out and her mom stays in to look after the kid.

The couple has a great date. They even visit the church and practice what would’ve been their wedding anniversary. They share cute vows and kiss.

At their daughter’s first birthday

Everyone shows up including Han Jeong-Eum and a very pregnant Soon-Hee. Everyone gathers to take a group photo but then, Hee Won is about to vomit, everyone looks at her with a surprise.
