Highly Underrated 4th Gen Girl Group Is Disbanding Only 4 Years Into Their Debut, Announcement Shocks Fans
RBW’s girl group PURPLE KISS is disbanding!
On the 4th of August, PURPLE KISS’s agency RBW revealed the shocking news via an official statement on their social media accounts. The group is disbanding this upcoming November and before that, will greet fans with one last album and a tour before their disbandment.
They stated, “We sincerely thank PLORYs who always give generous love. We are going to deliver our official statement regarding PURPLE KISS’s group activities and future plans. Above all, we feel sorry to deliver this news so suddenly.”
They continued, “This coming November, PURPLE KISS will end their group activities. As much as the members had deep sincerity toward the group, the company and the members had long and serious discussions about how to draw out their future time. As a result, we reached one conclusion with the heart of respecting each other’s opinions and sincerely supporting each other’s dreams.”
Also, the agency said, “Although the group activities are ending, the previously scheduled activities will be carried out without disruption in order to repay the support and love that has been given so far. From the release of the English album at the end of August, PURPLE KISS will be together with PLORYs for Japanese promotions, North American tour, and Korean concert during the remaining time.”
They continued, “We thank the six members who have shined PURPLE KISS all this time. Although there were clumsy and imperfect days, thanks to the members who always put in their passion at every moment and PLORYs who always supported them from the same place, every moment could shine,” they added.
PURPLE KISS is a 6-member girl group who debuted in March 2021 and continued active promotions. However, many fans have long expressed their criticism against RBW for the management of the group and for not doing their best to promote the talented girl group.
