RESCENE Takes Legal Action Against Malicious Commenters
RESCENE has drawn the sword against malicious commenters.
Agency The Muse Entertainment announced through its official website on July 16 that it has opened a reporting site to protect RESCENE’s rights and interests.
The agency added, “This site is meant to receive reports of malicious posts that damage the artist’s reputation, as well as cases of copyright infringement, so that we can take faster and more accurate action,” and continued, “We ask for your continued reports going forward to help protect our artist’s rights and interests. We’re always grateful for the unwavering love and support shown toward RESCENE.”
“LOVE ATTACK,” the title track off RESCENE’s first mini album released in August 2024, hit No. 1 on Melon’s “TOP100” chart — Korea’s largest music platform. This came roughly two years after the song’s original release. The chart resurgence began after content posted by member Wonyi on her personal YouTube channel drew major attention on short-form video platforms and elsewhere.
Riding this momentum, the new remake single “Pretty Girl,” released on July 8, has also been performing well. On July 14, RESCENE took first place for the first time since their debut on SBS’s music show “THE SHOW” with the remake single “Pretty Girl.”
