Idol-actor Rowoon’s enlistment has been postponed after he was reclassified just days before his scheduled enlistment.

On July 17, FNC Entertainment announced via their official website:
“Rowoon, who was scheduled to enlist as an active-duty soldier on July 21, received a re-examination order (Level 7 classification) during the enlistment evaluation conducted by the Military Manpower Administration two weeks prior to enlistment. This re-evaluation has been conducted for all conscripts since July.”

They continued, “Rowoon immediately submitted an appeal for the re-evaluation and is scheduled to undergo a second examination in early August. He hopes to be deemed eligible to fulfill his military duties and enlist as an active-duty soldier as soon as possible. We will provide further notice once a new enlistment date is confirmed.”

The agency remained cautious about disclosing the reasons behind the sudden re-evaluation. An FNC official told DongA.com, “The reason for the re-examination is personal medical information and cannot be made public. We ask for your understanding. Rowoon intends to confirm through the re-exam that there are no issues with his eligibility, and he plans to enlist promptly.”

Stay tuned for more updates!
