Singer Roy Kim is making a fresh start, and leaving his agency after 12 years.
On August 5, WAKEONE stated to Newsen, “It is true that Roy Kim’s exclusive contract has expired.”
Roy Kim debuted in the music industry in 2012 as the winner of Mnet’s Superstar K Season 4 and had been active under CJ ENM (WAKEONE) for 12 years.
Over the years, Roy Kim received much love for songs like “Bom Bom Bom,” “Only Then,” and “Let’s Stop.”
He is currently active as a “performance-type artist” through various broadcasts and festivals. Additionally, he recently launched a new social media account under the name “Kim Sang Woo” to communicate more closely with fans.
Attention is now focused on Roy Kim’s next steps as he embarks on a new chapter after leaving WAKEONE.
