The Two Famous SEVENTEEN Members Rumored To Debut In A Brand-New Subunit

SEVENTEEN’s S.Coups and Mingyu are reportedly launching a brand-new unit!

According to a July 11 report by MyDaily, S.Coups and Mingyu are set to debut as SEVENTEEN’s newest official unit. This marks the group’s fourth unit following BSS (BooSeokSoon), Jeonghan x Wonwoo, and Hoshi x Woozi.

S.Coups serves as SEVENTEEN’s overall leader and the leader of the Hip-Hop Team, while Mingyu is also a part of the Hip-Hop Team. Unlike previous units, which often featured vocal or performance team combinations, this could be the first unit formed entirely by Hip-Hop Team members.

In response to the report, a representative from PLEDIS Entertainment stated, “It’s difficult for us to confirm anything at this time.”

SEVENTEEN, known for its unique concept of 13 members divided into 3 units but acting as 1 team, has often experimented with various “mix units.”

With SEVENTEEN celebrating their 10th anniversary this year and teasing a “rebirth” through new projects, fans are highly anticipating what kind of music and performances this new unit will bring.
