Barely A Day After Jungkook’s Discharge, A Sasaeng Attempts To Enter His Home
A woman was caught attempting to trespass at BTS member Jungkook’s home, less than a day after the idol returned from the military.
According to MBN on June 12, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul arrested a Chinese woman in her 30s, identified as A, on the spot for attempted housebreaking.
A was apprehended by police after she repeatedly tried to enter the password at the front door of Jungkook’s residence in Yongsan-gu, Seoul around 11:20 p.m. on June 11. She was reported by people nearby.
Jungkook currently resides in a luxury detached house in Yongsan-gu. The original house was demolished and rebuilt into a five-story mansion. The neighborhood is known for its strong security and privacy, making it a favored location for celebrities and business figures. The news has upset fans since Jungkook had barely been discharged from the military, many are surprised the woman managed to get inside.
Jungkook enlisted in December 2023 and served in the 5th Artillery Brigade. He was discharged on June 11, held a commemorative event, and greeted his fans. “It feels awkward to be in front of the camera again. I didn’t even put on makeup, so I’m a bit embarrassed and not sure what to say,” he said. “Thank you to my juniors who are still serving and to my peers who were discharged a little earlier. Everyone worked hard living together.”
