Former Famous Idol Addresses Past Infamous Rumors Of Attacking IU, Again, How Did Such Rumors Start?

Singer Seo In Young, formerly of the group Jewelry, has once again denied the “IU assault” rumor that led her to leave the entertainment industry in the past. She looked back on how baffled she was at the time, saying she wasn’t even close with IU.

On October 7, a video featuring Baek Ji Young as a guest was released on the YouTube channel “Gaegwacheonseon Seo In Young.” Baek Ji Young brought up past conflicts she had with Seo In Young in the waiting room and looked back on a time when both of them came across as having strong images. She said, “You’re a strong character, and I’m a strong character too, aren’t I? But when you get to know you, you’ve really never said anything harsh to anyone, have you?” adding, “We’ve never bullied juniors.”

Seo In Young then brought up the rumor that surrounded her in the past. She said, “There were rumors that I hit IU,” and “The rumor was that I dragged IU into the bathroom and beat her up. Why would I hit her?” expressing her frustration.

Regarding her actual relationship with IU, Seo In Young explained, “I wasn’t close with IU.” Hearing this, Baek Ji Young joked, “Of course you’d have hit her if you weren’t close,” and Seo In Young showed a stunned reaction. Seo In Young said, “I was busy,” and “I thought Narsha was younger than me.” She recalled the happening that came from finding out her real age late.
