Popular Singer Addresses Rumors Of Feud With Famous 2nd Gen Idol

Singer Seo In Young has spoken up for the first time in nine years about her rumored feud with Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga In.

Recently, Seo In Young hosted a live broadcast on social media to communicate with fans and brought up Gain during the session.

When several fans asked about her current relationship with Ga In, she said, “I’m close with Ga In. I think back then I acted too hastily and not like a proper senior. There were also parts that hurt me.”

She continued, “We’ve talked things out, and we’re on good terms now. Let’s not make this an issue anymore,” dismissing the feud rumors. When many expressed curiosity about what had happened between them, she responded, “Nothing happened. There was nothing between Ga In and me. I’ll talk about everything on YouTube. Let’s keep it light here.”

Rumors of discord between the two date back to 2016. At the time, during an appearance together on MBC’s “Radio Star,” Ga In shared an episode from their early days, saying, “When we debuted, In Young unnie must’ve found Narsha unnie cute. She said something like, ‘She’s so adorable.’” Seo In Young explained, “Narsha greeted so politely and looked so cute that I thought she was younger than me.”

Ga In then said, “Since Narsha unnie is my team’s older member, I got a little irritated because In Young unnie, who’s younger, called her cute.” Seo In Young fired back, “You got irritated? You? Go on. You got irritated—so what?” sparking controversy over her attitude.

Following the broadcast, Seo In Young fueled the situation by posting on social media, expressing her displeasure toward Ga In.

She wrote, “I don’t think it was appropriate to say ‘I got irritated’ while sitting right next to someone. Especially on a broadcast, not in a private setting. I don’t understand why she brought up something that happened years ago between her and Narsha. I was surprised that she, who wasn’t even directly involved, said she got irritated at a senior.”

Seo In Young also commented, “Ga In’s attitude before and during filming was so different that I couldn’t adjust to her style,” showing discomfort at the time.

Although the conflict eventually faded without clarification, Seo In Young has now reflected on her behavior, admitting she “wasn’t mature as a senior,” showing a more thoughtful and mature side.
