BREAKING: Seunghan Is Resuming Activities With RIIZE, Set To Return To Group After Extended Hiatus
On the 11th of October, SM Wizard Production announced Seunghan’s return to RIIZE via an official lengthy statement to their social media accounts. Seunghan had previously paused activities in November 2023 due to personal issues and is set to resume group activities a year after his hiatus.

Below is the full statement from SM regarding Seunghan’s return to RIIZE.
To Breeze who love RIIZE,
Hello, this is Wizard Production, the producers of RIIZE.
We would like to carefully share news regarding Seunghan’s return and RIIZE’s future direction.
As you know, due to a pre-debut personal issue, it has been about 10 months since Seunghan paused his team activities.
Seunghan acknowledges that his past behavior was wrong, and he feels deeply sorry towards the members and fans, reflecting sincerely for nearly a year without any activities. We also recognized that his past actions were not appropriate for an artist, which is why it took time to decide when to resume his activities.
We fully understand the curiosity and concerns fans had due to the lack of updates on Seunghan’s activities, and we sincerely apologize for the delay in communicating our decision regarding the future direction of RIIZE.
After extensive discussions with the team and the members, we have concluded that RIIZE’s next chapter, which we’ve carefully planned since before debut, will have more meaning with all 7 members together. As a result, Seunghan will rejoin the team. After a period of preparation, he will gradually participate in some of the team’s scheduled activities starting in November and greet the fans again.
During his hiatus, Seunghan has worked diligently to improve his skills. He has much more to show, so we hope you will watch him with warmth.
We sincerely apologize again for the confusion and difficulty we caused to the fans who have supported RIIZE’s growth. However, RIIZE is a team that grows and realizes dreams together. The members prioritize the team, and even now, they are practicing hard. We ask for your trust in our decision as we prepare to show RIIZE as a team of 7 members.
Many of you must be wondering what RIIZE’s next chapter will be, how much they will grow, what dreams they have, and how they will realize them in the future. As people who are closest to RIIZE and as their passionate fans, we are eagerly looking forward to RIIZE’s next chapter.
We will continue to work hard to deliver great music and amazing performances in return for your support, sharing all the moments of the members’ growth and dreams being realized. We ask you to continue being with us on this journey.
