Two SEVENTEEN Members Just Announced Their Military Enlistment Dates

SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi (29) and Woozi (28) will enlist for active military service in September.

Their agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced on the 8^th of July via the fan platform Weverse, “Hoshi and Woozi will begin fulfilling their military duties starting this September. Woozi is scheduled to enlist as an active-duty soldier in the army on September 15, and Hoshi on September 16.”

They added, “Before enlisting, they will carry out their final official activities, including the ‘Hoshi X Woozi Fan Concert [WARNING]’ and a regular 5th album video call fan signing event. After starting their service, they will no longer be able to participate in Seventeen’s schedules, but they will continue to meet with CARATs through various content prepared in advance.”

Pledis also requested, “As the training camp entrance ceremony is an event attended by many soldiers and family members, we ask fans to refrain from visiting in person. Please leave your farewell messages and encouragement for Hoshi and Woozi on Weverse.”

Finally, the agency said, “We ask CARATs for their unwavering love and support so that Hoshi and Woozi can fulfill their military duties faithfully and return in even healthier conditions. Our company will also continue to do its best to support our artists.”

With this, Hoshi and Woozi will follow Jeonghan and Wonwoo in fulfilling their military duties. Jeonghan enlisted in September last year, and Wonwoo entered service in April this year and is currently serving alternative duty.
