SEVENTEEN Re-Signs With Pledis Entertainment for Second Time, All 13 Members Included
Thirteen-member K-pop group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has signed a second contract renewal with its current agency, Pledis Entertainment, with no member leaving the group.
Pledis Entertainment said on July 13, “SEVENTEEN has come to an agreement to sign a second contract renewal with our company,” adding, “All members except those currently serving in the military have completed signing their contracts, and the members fulfilling their military service will sign their contracts in turn according to their service conditions.”
SEVENTEEN said, “We’re happy to be able to share this good news with CARAT (the group’s official fandom name). With the belief that there’s nothing we can’t accomplish together with the members, and a shared feeling that we want to go further as a team, all 13 of us came together to decide to do this,” adding, “We ask that you, our fans, join us in our promise to challenge forever as members of ‘TEAM SVT.'”
SEVENTEEN, who debuted in 2015, signed their first contract renewal early back in 2021, built on strong bonds between the members and solid trust with Pledis Entertainment. The group has once again achieved the meaningful outcome of a “full-group renewal” without a single member leaving, which is unusual for a group with this many members.
