SF9’s Dawon Reveals Military Enlistment Date
SF9‘s Dawon will be enlisting in the active-duty military service!
He is scheduled to fulfill his 1 year and 6 months national defense duty and return. FNC Entertainment announced on the 21st of May that Dawon will be enlisting on July 1st.
They also mentioned that there will be no separate official event to minimize congestion at the enlistment site. Fans’ visits will be prohibited, and the agency asked for understanding, stating that it is a private venue.
Lastly, they expressed gratitude for the love and requested fans’ support until his safe return after completing his service. Following his enlistment, Dawon will undergo 5 weeks of basic military training, followed by deployment to his assigned unit. His expected discharge date is December 31, 2025.

On another note, Dawon held a solo fan meeting at Yonsei University Sinchon Campus Centennial Memorial Hall on the 27th and 28th of last month, where he bid farewell to his fans before enlistment.
