Beloved 44-Year-Old Singer Is Getting Married To Boyfriend Seven Years Her Junior
Shinji (44) of Koyote is getting married to singer Moon Won (37), who is seven years her junior, and the spotlight is now on the soon-to-be groom.
On the 23rd of June, agencies KYT Entertainment and JG Star confirmed to Maeil Business Star Today, “Shinji is scheduled to marry singer Moon Won in the first half of next year.”
According to sources, Shinji and Moon Won had their wedding photoshoot on the same day. The two first met when Shinji was active as a DJ for MBC radio’s “Single Bungle Show.”
Photos taken during their time on “Single Bungle Show” are also gaining attention. In one image, Shinji is holding a flower and pouting, while Moon Won playfully pokes his cheek with his finger.
Moon Won debuted in 2012 with the song “Let’s Live Together.” He has since released tracks such as “Because We Have to Break Up,” “For You,” “Take a Break,” and “Only You.”
In 2013, he appeared on JTBC’s variety show “Hidden Singer” in the Yoon Min Soo episode, where he placed fourth.
Shinji and Moon Won are set to release a duet on the 26th. The new track expresses the fluttering emotions found in love with a pure and gentle approach. As it is a love song sung by a real-life couple ahead of their marriage, anticipation is high.
Shinji debuted with Koyote in 1998 and gained immense popularity with hits like “Genuine,” “Blue,” “Meeting,” and “Disco King.” She will be the second Koyote member to marry, following leader Kim Jong Min, who tied the knot this past April with a businesswoman 11 years his junior.
