Singer Jukjae To Get Married To Popular Idol’s Older Sister

Singer Jukjae is tying the knot with former announcer and TV personality Heo Songyeon.

On July 1, Jukjae took to Instagram to personally share the news, writing, “I have something to share. I feel this should be handwritten, but since my handwriting is terrible, I’m leaving this message typed so you can read it properly. I’ve found someone I want to spend the rest of my life with.”

He continued, “I’ve met someone who understands and cherishes me just as I am, and we’ve decided to walk through life together. I’m a bit nervous, scared, and overwhelmed, but as I begin this new chapter, I’d appreciate your warm support and encouragement.”

As for his career, he assured fans, “As always, I’ll continue to work hard to bring you good music and performances.”

Earlier that day, The Fact reported that Jukjae and Heo Songyeon had been spotted going on a dress tour, signaling that the couple is actively preparing for their wedding.

Jukjae, born in 1989, is a guitarist and singer-songwriter who debuted in 2014 with the track “A Word.” He gained wide popularity with songs like “Let’s Go See the Stars” and “Would You Walk With Me.” He’s also preparing for a small theater concert next month.

Heo Songyeon, born in 1992, is the older sister of KARA member Heo Youngji. She debuted as an announcer in 2016 and currently co-runs the YouTube channel Heo Sisters with her sister.
