SM Entertainment reiterated its firm stance against creators of malicious posts targeting its artists.

On the 10th of July, SM Entertainment announced the current status of legal action through its official channel, stating, “We are providing information on the response status regarding artist rights violations.”

SM disclosed that legal action is ongoing based on reports received through its own reporting system KWANGYA 119, as well as materials collected from various social media platforms and online communities. The company also warned posters attempting to evade legal responsibility through account deletions, deactivations, and privacy changes, stating, “No evasion tactic can escape legal liability or punishment.”

SM emphasized, “Through real-time documentation, we have secured sufficient materials necessary for legal action,” and confirmed that all illegal activities, including evasion attempts, are subject to strong legal measures without exception. The company also released a list of accounts targeted for legal action, announcing, “Under a zero-tolerance principle without leniency, we will deploy all available legal means to hold perpetrators strictly accountable.”

Currently, SM houses groups including TVXQ, Super Junior, NCT, aespa, RIIZE, and Hate2Hate.
