Stray Kids have set a new record, becoming the group with the most albums to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the main US Billboard album chart, in the 21st century.

According to Billboard’s announcement on August 16th (local time), Stray Kids’ new mini album “THIS & THAT,” released on August 7th, topped the Billboard 200 chart dated August 22nd.

The album earned a total of 369,000 units in its first week in the US, combining 357,000 physical album sales, 11,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, and 1,000 track equivalent album (TEA) units. This marks a 25 percent increase from their previous release and is Stray Kids’ best-ever sales week in the US. In South Korea, the album also recorded first-week sales of 3,289,269 copies on the Hanteo Chart, roughly 1 million more than their previous release, “DO IT.”

With this achievement, Stray Kids became the group with the most No. 1 albums on the chart in the 21st century. Among all artists in the 2020s, they now tie Taylor Swift for the most No. 1 albums. Among groups of all time, they tie The Rolling Stones for second place behind The Beatles, and they became the fastest act since The Beatles to send nine albums to No. 1.

Stray Kids first topped the Billboard 200 in 2022 with their mini album “ODDINARY,” and have now sent nine consecutive releases straight to No. 1. “THIS & THAT,” their first release of 2026, was produced entirely by the group’s in-house production team 3RACHA, who worked on all eight tracks, including the title track “This & That.”
