Super Junior’s Shindong revealed his disappointment over leaving several variety shows without being informed.

On the September 3rd broadcast of MBC’s variety show “Radio Star,” episode 930 aired under the special theme “All Big-Size Project,” featuring guests Seo Jang Hoon, Shin Giru, Shindong, and Na Sun Wook.

During the episode, Shindong, who was a founding member of “The Great Escape,” said, “It was the same with ‘Radio Star’ and also with ‘The Great Escape.’ Whenever I leave, nobody tells me anything,” expressing his frustration.

Previously, Shindong revealed that he only found out about the production of “The Great Escape: The Story” through news articles. “The Great Escape: The Story” is the first new season in five years, but Shindong, Kim Jong Min, and P.O did not return. Instead, Baekhyun, Yeo Jin Goo, and Go Kyung Pyo joined as new members.

As for “Radio Star,” where he was also a founding member, Shindong said, “I found out through an article that said, ‘Shindong’s spot has been replaced by Kim Gook Jin.’ Since this keeps repeating, I can’t forget it.”

He further explained, “Back in our time, because of the ‘Knee-Drop Guru’ segment, sometimes we didn’t even get five minutes (on air). That’s why when we gave our closing greetings, we would add ‘please (keep us on).’”

Kim Gura then joked, “Shindong is like a discontinued item from ‘Radio Star.’ He was an original member, but no one remembers him anymore,” drawing laughter.
