Hello. This is ODE Entertainment.
First of all, we would like to thank all the fans who have loved and supported Super Junior D&E for a long time.
We are aware of the issues and opinions regarding the title track “GGB” of this album and have had discussions internally with the artist.
The song expresses the longing for a past lover in a cute and friendly way. We never had any intention to use this word in a negative way, as your concerns have pointed out.
However, we regret that we did not carefully consider the potential discomfort that this word may cause due to its cultural and societal implications.
Although we have discussed various measures, most of the album production has already been completed, limiting our ability to make changes.
Therefore, after considering various opinions internally, we have decided to cancel all scheduled music show activities after the release.
We had prepared various contents to show our appreciation to the fans who have been eagerly waiting for this comeback and we plan to release them all.
We ask for your understanding.
We apologize to the fans who have been eagerly anticipating this comeback with a disappointed heart.
And once again, we would like to express our gratitude to all the fans who have always supported us deeply. Thank you.
Meanwhile, Super Junior D&E’s ‘606’ will be released on March 26.
