Super Junior’s Leeteuk Shares Update After Highway Rear-End Collision, Undergoes Physical Therapy and Reveals Repair Costs
Super Junior member Leeteuk shared an update on his condition after being involved in a highway rear-end collision.
On the 30th of May, Leeteuk posted on his social media account, describing the accident in detail and expressing concern from fans.
He said: “I briefly informed you through Bubble, but I will now explain the exact situation.”
According to Leeteuk, the vehicle involved was a Porsche Taycan GTS that he had recently purchased. He explained: “I bought the car after finishing my ambassador activities, and it had just completed PPF coating and filming work. It was a brand-new car with only about 800 km on it.”
He continued: “I hadn’t even removed the protective seat film yet when a car behind me hit me directly on the highway.”
He added: “It felt like my whole body was struck by a hammer in that moment.”
The damage was significant. He said: “The rear of the car was heavily damaged, and repair costs alone came to nearly 14 million won [$9,287].” He also shared: “More importantly, I am currently receiving daily physical therapy due to neck and back pain from the impact.”

Despite his busy schedule, he is personally handling the aftermath. He said: “I am preparing for a new album, tour, TV recordings, and also taking care of my dog Kkung at the same time. I am handling the accident process and all related matters on my own without company help, so it has been difficult, but I will try to resolve everything properly.”
He also revealed plans to sell the car, saying: “From the beginning, there were many complications with this car. After it was delivered, my dog got sick and then I had the accident. I feel like this car is not meant for me. Even if I take a loss, I plan to repair it and then let it go.”
He concluded: “Please stay healthy and drive safely.”
