Daughter Of Famous K-Hip Hop Artist To Debut As A Solo Lyricist In Famous SM Boy Group’s Song

Lee Haru, the daughter of Epik High leader Tablo, is making her debut as a solo lyricist with RIIZE’s new song!

According to Newsen on June 8, Lee Haru participated as the lyricist for ‘Do Your Dance,’ the title track of RIIZE’s second mini album ‘II,’ which will be released on the 15th. It was confirmed that she wrote the lyrics for the title track on her own. ‘Do Your Dance’ is an upbeat dance song that combines hip-hop beats with electronic pop sounds. The lyrics are said to clearly capture RIIZE’s free-spirited energy and confidence.

This is not the first time Lee Haru has received a lyricist credit. Previously, she participated as a co-lyricist alongside her father Tablo on KiiiKiii’s ‘To Me From Me,’ which was released on November 4 last year. However, this marks her first time working as a solo lyricist, and as a well-known passionate fan of many K-pop groups, including SEVENTEEN, anticipation is growing for Haru’s unique sensibility.

Lee Haru is the daughter of Tablo and actress Kang Hye Jung, who married in 2009 and welcomed her the following year. On May 26, Tablo shared an update about his daughter through his personal channel, saying, “You may not believe it, but my daughter Haru has already grown this much and is preparing for the SAT and AP exams.” AP is a program that allows high school students to take college-level courses and exams in advance.

In a video released on Tablo’s YouTube channel Bodeuners on June 2, he revealed that he and his daughter Lee Haru worked as translators for the film ‘Nirvanna the Band the Show: The Movie,’ which follows Matt and Jay of Nirvanna the Band, a group unrelated to the legendary band Nirvana, as they devise a ridiculous plan to build a time machine for a performance and travel back to when they first met 17 years earlier.
