2PM’s member and actor Ok Taecyeon has denied rumors of an impending marriage with his non-celebrity girlfriend.
Recently, rumors of Ok Taecyeon’s marriage began circulating on online communities. This was due to leaked snap photos showing him kneeling in front of his long-time girlfriend and offering her a ring in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The romantic scene was interpreted as a proposal, fueling the marriage speculation.
Ok Taecyeon has been in a romantic relationship with this non-celebrity girlfriend since 2020.
However, his agency 51K clarified the situation during a phone call with Star News on the 5th of February, stating, “It was just a couple’s snap photo. Ok Taecyeon did not propose, nor does he have immediate marriage plans. There are no current plans for marriage.”
They added, “Ok Taecyeon and his non-celebrity girlfriend are happily dating. Marriage will happen when the right time comes, but the rumors circulating online are completely groundless.”
Meanwhile, Ok Taecyeon is experiencing great success in Japan with the film “Grand Maison Paris.” The film has attracted 2.16 million viewers and surpassed 3.12 billion yen [$19,620,474] in box office revenue, receiving much love from fans.
Ok Taecyeon will also hold a fan meeting in Korea on February 15 and 16, followed by a fan meeting in Japan on March 8, promising another year of brilliant activities.
