2nd Gen Idol Shocks With Reveal Of His Relationship, The Identity Of His Girlfriend Surprised Fans
TEEN TOP member Changjo and singer-entrepreneur Casper have officially confirmed their relationship.
On the 4th of January, Changjo personally revealed his relationship with Casper through his SNS, saying, “Some of you may already know, while others may be surprised to hear this for the first time, but everyone, I am currently in a relationship.”
He continued, “It has been 16 years since I started this work, and I believe that over a long period of time I have shared many experiences with you and grown together. While promoting, there were many moments when I was emotionally and mentally unstable, and this is a person I am grateful to, someone who has helped change my shortcomings in a positive way and supported me,” introducing Casper as his partner.
He added, “As I went through the experiences of my early 20s and the many concerns I have now that I am in my 30s, I came to think more deeply about the meaning of choice. I am writing this because I sincerely want to express my gratitude to the fans who have given me great strength to endure difficult times for over 10 years.”
Changjo also asked for fans’ understanding, saying, “This choice does not change the work I have been doing or my feelings when standing on stage. Rather, both personally and professionally, my heart has become much more stable, and I feel that I am reaching a state where I can focus even more on the stage and music that I love most.” He added, “Some of my current choices may be disappointing or hard to understand, but I will do my best so that my sincerity can reach you.”
Changjo debuted in 2010 as a member of TEEN TOP and received love through numerous hit songs such as “Clap,” “Crazy,” “No More Perfume on You,” and “To You.” He later challenged himself in acting, appearing in works such as “Sweden Laundry” and “My Oppa Is Gone.”
Casper is a singer who became known through “Show Me the Money” seasons 4 and 6, “Unpretty Rapstar 2,” and “Society Game 2.” She also worked as a vocalist for No Sleep Club and recently launched the beauty brand “Glow,” recording sales in the 10 billion won [around $7 million] range, actively working as a businesswoman as well.
Meanwhile, the two are known to have continued so-called “lovestagram” posts through SNS. They naturally expressed their affection by leaving meaningful reactions on each other’s posts or uploading photos around similar times, and as a result, many fans responded that they had already known about the relationship.
