Bomb Threat Against Famous Boy Group’s Seoul Concert Causes Postponement And Evacuation, After Inspection, Concert Proceeded
The group THE BOYZ has urgently postponed their concert after getting a bomb threat.
On the 10th of August, their agency, One Hundred, announced via official social media: “This is a notice regarding today’s performance of THE BOYZ ‘THE BLAZE’ World Tour in Seoul. Due to an inspection of facilities inside the KSPO Dome, today’s house opening and performance start time will inevitably be delayed.”
At the time of the initial statement, the exact opening time was not been determined. One Hundred stated: “We will inform you again as soon as the exact opening and performance times are confirmed, and we kindly ask for the audience’s understanding.”
The postponement was reportedly due to a bomb threat at the KSPO Dome in Seoul’s Olympic Park. According to police and fire authorities, around 2:00 p.m. that day, a fax was received by Korea Sports Industry Development stating that an explosive had been installed at the KSPO Dome. The company immediately reported it to the police, and police and firefighters were dispatched on site to conduct a search for explosives.
In a later statement, the agency set a new start time for the concert at 6 p.m. They wrote,

The start time for today’s (10th) performance of THE BOYZ <THE BLAZE> WORLD TOUR in SEOUL has been postponed to 6 PM.
On August 10, a report was received regarding the installation of explosives inside KSPO DOME (Gymnastics Stadium), and the police and fire department conducted a facility safety inspection.
We apologize for the delay in the announcement due to the safety inspection. The inspection has been completed, and the house will open starting from 4:45 PM.
We sincerely apologize once again for making you wait in the hot weather. Please note that cold water is being distributed around the venue.
We ask for the audience’s understanding.
THE BOYZ have been holding their fourth world tour at the KSPO Dome since the 8th, and today’s concert was originally scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m.
