“I Won’t Repeat The Same Mistake Again,” Popular Kpop Idol Apologizes After Denying Dating Rumors With Actress

Following the denial of his dating rumors with actress Shin Si Ah, THE BOYZ member Juyeon has personally reached out to fans.

On June 12, Juyeon communicated with fans through the platform Fromm, saying, “I’m sorry for making you wait so long.” He continued, “I should have reached out to The B (fandom name) earlier, but I spent time thinking about how I could ease your worries and concerns, and that ended up taking longer. I feel like that time might have made things even harder for you, and I’m truly sorry. I feel like I’ve upset you because of this incident, and for that, I sincerely apologize.”

He added, “There are a lot of things that aren’t true, but I deeply feel that it’s ultimately my responsibility that this situation arose. I promise I won’t repeat the same mistakes again.”

Juyeon went on to say, “Through this experience, I’ve done a lot of thinking. I had become so used to the love and support from The B that I may have momentarily forgotten how much trust and expectation I receive. From now on, I will never take your hearts for granted, and I’ll treasure them even more. I will work even harder so that I can live up to the love and trust you give me.”

Previously, on June 10, both Juyeon’s agency 100 and Shin Si Ah’s agency Management SOOP firmly denied the dating rumors. 100 stated, “The rumors are not true,” while Management SOOP also said, “After checking with the artist, the rumors are completely groundless.”

Rumors of a romantic relationship between Juyeon and Shin Si Ah had recently spread online. Posts on online communities claimed that the two were dating, citing photos of the two wearing similar hats, jackets, rings, and necklaces. Some also pointed to alleged “lovestagram” posts on social media that were believed to reference one another.

However, both sides firmly denied the allegations, quickly addressing and shutting down the rumors of a “same-age romance.”

Juyeon and Shin Si Ah recently worked together on the short film “Forever Ever”, which was selected as a special screening at the 26th Jeonju International Film Festival. The two also attended the film’s GV (Guest Visit) event and interacted with audiences directly.
