THE BOYZ to Continue Activities as a Nine-Member Group

THE BOYZ is establishing a new label and will continue on as a group with all nine members.

Through their PR agency HNS HQ, THE BOYZ released an official statement on August 6, saying, “Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo, and Eric — all nine members — have come together in agreement to continue THE BOYZ’s group activities and have finalized their group activity contract. They are currently preparing to operate under a newly established label.”

The nine members of THE BOYZ made this decision after coming to an agreement to first clarify the team’s future and direction before shaping their individual activities, for the sake of the fans who have long supported and worried about them.

Under this plan, each member will sign individual contracts with companies that can help them maximize their own capabilities, while maintaining a close system of cooperation to ensure THE BOYZ’s group activities continue on stable footing.

The members said, “Our belief that all nine of us needed to stay together never wavered from the very start. More than anything, we wanted to share our decision first with the fans who have been waiting for and worrying about THE BOYZ’s group activities,” adding, “We’ll each do our best in our own positions, while also doing everything we can to keep carrying forward the precious time we’ve built together with our fans as THE BOYZ.”

They continued, “We’re truly grateful to all our fans for the unwavering love and support you’ve shown us. We’ll work hard to prepare so we can repay you with a good outcome, so please continue to root for us.”

Specific details on THE BOYZ’s team activity schedule will be released in stages at a later date.
